Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite Tickets & Dates

Tickets for Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite will go on sale next week with a special Inspire Magic Key pre-sale followed by a pre-sale for all other Magic Key holders before the tickets go on sale to the general public. Dates for the third Disneyland After Dark event have also been announced with Star Wars Nite events on April 16, 18, 23, 25, 30 and May 2, 7 and 9, 2024. Star Wars Nites will take place during Season of the Force at the Disneyland Resort.

Each Star Wars Nite will run from 9pm to 1am but will also include early admission to Disneyland Park three hours before the event begins. Guests with a ticket to the event will not need to make theme park reservations to enter Disneyland Park at 6:00pm or later. Ticket holders for the event will also receive souvenir keepsakes such as a Star Wars Nite credential and an event guide map, plus unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken throughout the event.

On Tuesday, February 20, 2024 (no earlier than 9am PT) Inspire Magic Key holders will have the first opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets for Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite. Then, on Wednesday, February 21 and Thursday, February 22, 2024, all other Magic Key holders will have the opportunity to purchase from a select amount of pre-sale tickets. On Friday, February 23, 2024 (no earlier than 9am PT), tickets will go on sale to the general public. Tickets are limited for each After Dark event night as well as for each pre-sale.

Be prepared for each Star Wars Nite to sell out quickly so have an alternate date ready in case your first request sells out before you have an opportunity to buy tickets.

New “Notify Me” Option for the Ticket Queue

Do you hate waiting in the ticket queue until it’s your turn to buy tickets? Well, the force is strong with that feeling so good news awaits! For the first time, if you’re waiting in the online queue to purchase Star Wars Nite tickets, you will have the option to be digitally notified when it’s your turn to purchase tickets.

To participate, once in the ticket queue, choose the “notify me” option and enter your email address. You’ll receive an email letting you know when it’s your turn to return to the waiting room in order to purchase your tickets. From the time your turn begins, you’ll have ten minutes to use the link to return to the site.

However, my suggestion is to use this option with caution. Since it is new, expect issues and if you do decide to use the “notify me” option, make sure you are checking your email inbox regularly as well as checking your spam folder in case your notification email is sent there. Personally, I think a text message “notify me” option would work better for most guests purchasing tickets.

Themed Entertainment

Next, get ready for out-of-this-world entertainment. Here’s a look at what guests can experience:

  • Guests in Star Wars-themed costumes are invited to participate in a special cavalcade, where they will join Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in a march down Main Street, U.S.A., culminating in a group photo in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, illuminated with galactic projections. Note that costumes are subject to Disney guidelines and should not be obstructive or offensive; please check special event costume guidelines at https://disneyland.disney.go.com/faq/parks/dress/ for restrictions.
  • Bring your lightsaber and learn how to handle it with skill, concentration, and a clear mind with a quick stop at the Star Wars Nite Lightsaber Instructional at “it’s a small world” mall. Here, you will be introduced to all-new maneuvers specially crafted for this year’s recruits. All members of the Light Side and/or Dark Side are welcome.
  • Dance along at a Galactic Dance Party with a Master DJ on Main Street, U.S.A.
  • Bring your lightsabers and gather at the Millennium Falcon for a Resistance Show of Unity!
  • Encounter Captain Phasma and her elite unit of Stormtroopers in Tomorrowland.

Plus immerse yourself in multiple Star Wars-themed photo opportunities, featuring some new places and faces from across the Star Wars Universe! And as a reminder, tickets to a Star Wars Nite event includes unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken throughout the event.

Other character experiences will be announced closer to the first event date. Check back at disneymouseketeer.com for updates. We will post that information as soon as it is available.
