The first Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite event night is next Tuesday, April 16, 2024, and we now have a list of some of the character appearances for each event night.
Tickets are still available for most Star Wars event nights including April 16, 18, 23, 25 and 30, and May 7, 2024. May 2 & 9, 2024 event nights are sold out. Each event’s hours are 9pm to 1am but guests with tickets to an event night can enter Disneyland Park three hours before the event begins on their ticketed event date. Guests with a ticket to the event will not need to make theme park reservations to enter Disneyland Park at 6:00pm or later.
Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite Characters
The locations of the event night characters have not been announced yet, but we do have a short list of which Disney & Star Wars characters will be attending the event for meet and greets.
- Luke Skywalker
- Princess Leia
- Darth Vader
- Emperor Palpatine
- Kylo Ren
- The Mandalorian with Grogu
- Ahsoka Tano
- Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse bounding in their Star Wars-themed looks
The list states “and many more” so we should have an update on character appearances soon (or an update on the first event night).
Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite Entertainment
Star Wars Nite will also include unique entertainment. Here’s a list of the entertainment scheduled for each Star Wars Nite :
- Galactic DJ Party Zone to dance the night away on Main Street, U.S.A.
- The First Order will be searching for a Resistance spy in Tomorrowland with a March of the First Order Featuring Captain Phasma.
- A Lightsaber Meet-Up with Rey will take place at the Millennium Falcon.
- Attend a Lightsaber instructional demonstration and learn how to wield a lightsaber from an elite instructor.
- Dress as your favorite Star Wars character and participate in a Fans of the Force Costume Cavalcade – A Star Wars Nite Costume (Cosplay) Showcase.
- Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes, the famous Mos Eisley Cantina Band, will take a quick trip around the Rivers of America, playing their most iconic piece of music.
Photo Backdrop Themes
Disney PhotoPass photographers will be available to snap your picture with imaginative event-themed backdrops of some of your favorite Star Wars movie memories. Here are the photo backdrop themes for Star Wars Nite (locations have not been announced):
