Disney Wonderful World of Sweets opened at 3pm PT today at Downtown Disney District. The reimagined shop replaces Marceline’s Confectionery as the candy and sweet treats shop in the district. In 2024, Marceline’s Confectionery closed for a refurbishment and expansion. The newly reimagined location now named Disney Wonderful World of Sweets took over the former location previously occupied by Marceline’s Confectionery and the Disney Dress Shop (which is also being reimagined in a different location).
The new sweets shop features candy and sweet treat decor with lots of swirling and colorful designs. The shop sells all your favorite fresh prepared candy and treats such as chocolate-covered strawberries, caramel apples, toffee, fudge and more along with new treats like Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn.
You can also find all of your favorite packaged Disney branded candy and other treat products in the reimagined shop including gummies, trail mixes, chocolates and more.
And if all that wasn’t enough, the reimagined shop also has a brand new character icon. Meet Poppi! The all-new character icon is available for purchase as a popcorn bucket which is only available at Disney Wonderful World of Sweets in the Downtown Disney District. You can also find Poppi as a cake pop and on the packaged popcorn in the shop.
Now that your mouth is watering for something sweet, head to Downtown Disney and check out Disney Wonderful World of Sweets. And while you are there, peek inside the glass-walled kitchen to watch Disney candy makers hard at work creating some of your favorite Disney treats.
