Disney Cruise Lines newest ship, the Disney Treasure, is currently in transit on its transatlantic journey across the Atlantic Ocean to its new home in Port Canaveral, Florida. And during the journey, the crew has been busy making the final preparations before welcoming guests onboard. And one of the preparations was to test out the ship’s new horn.
Disney Cruise Line passengers are very familiar with the cruise ship horn playing a Disney tune when the ship is embarking. But the Disney Treasure will have even more tunes to play. Disney Cruise Lines newest ship will have seven new arrangements of familiar Disney tunes to play using the ship’s horn. The tunes include “Grim Grinning Ghosts” from the Disney Parks attraction Haunted Mansion, “Remember Me” from Pixar Animation Studios’ Coco and “A Whole New World” from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Aladdin, just to name a few. The rest will be a surprise to guests sailing on Disney Treasure’s maiden voyage on December 21, 2024.
The Disney Treasure will offer 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries with the maiden voyage in December being an Eastern Caribbean cruise. The Eastern Caribbean itinerary will offer sailings to St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands and Disney Castaway Cay. And, the Western Caribbean itinerary will offer sailings to Cozumel in Mexico, George Town in the Grand Cayman, Falmouth in Jamaica and Disney Castaway Cay.
