The former Disney Dress Shop at Downtown Disney District has been replaced with a new reimagined store named Disney Storyland Boutique. The new boutique opened on Friday, January 24, 2025 in the location formerly occupied by the Disney Dress Shop, next door to the Disney Home store. Prior to the Disney Dress Shop, the merchandise location was occupied by WonderGround Gallery which recently opened in a new location between Salt & Straw and Napolini Pizzeria.

Disney Storyland Boutique features Disney character plush, apparel, custom “Create Your Own Headbands” and more inspired by beloved Disney stories.

The shops assortment will change throughout the year with merchandise from different Disney stories.

The shop opened with a lot of Winnie the Pooh, Marie from The Aristocats and Stitch merchandise. Disney Storyland Boutique has a “Create Your Own Headbands” section and lots of Disney plush around the store.

“STORYLAND” is spelt out on one wall of the store with most letters representing different Disney characters. “S” represents Stitch, “T” for Tigger, “R” for Remy from Ratatouille, “Y” for Yzma from The Emperor’s New Groove, “A” for Ariel from The Little Mermaid, “N” for Nick Wilde from Zootopia and “D” for Dumbo. The “O” and “L” from “STORYLAND” don’t represent a character and are in neon lights.
