Disney Prep & Landing returning this Holiday Season

This holiday season, Wayne & Lanny are back at it again as everyone’s favorite Christmas elves in an all-new special on Disney Channel and Disney+. Disney Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol is coming to Disney Channel on November 27, 2025 and on Disney+ the next day.

After all of their holiday missions together, do you think everything will go smoothly for these two? Not a chance!

In this all-new holiday special, another mission goes awry and Wayne fears that he is in big trouble with Santa. This will open up a vault of merry memories from Wayne’s past with flashbacks revisiting some of his other holiday mishaps.

Prep & Landing

In 2009, Disney released the first Prep & Landing short feature introducing Wayne and Lanny. This holiday short simply titled Prep & Landing, introduces Wayne, a Christmas elf whose job is to get homes ready for Santa’s visit. Wayne has been doing this job for so long and he is ready for a promotion. But, when Wayne is overlooked for the promotion by his former partner, he becomes bitter and lazy at his job. However, he has to train his new partner Lanny who is full of Christmas cheer.

Prep & Landing: Operation: Secret Santa

The next short in the series was released the following year in 2010 titled Disney Prep & Landing: Operation: Secret Santa. This special short has the two elves on a secret mission for Mrs. Claus, sneaking into Santa’s office to find a box in Santa’s secret workshop.

Prep & Landing Naughty vs. Nice

And the last Prep & Landing short released was in 2011, titled Disney Prep & Landing Naughty vs. Nice. This third short in the series introduces Wayne’s brother, Noel, who is a Coal Elf. Noel along with Wayne and Lanny team up to recover a classified North Pole devise from a young hacker who wants to put herself on the nice list.
