In October, Open Edition pins at the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort increased in price by $2 to $3 per pin. Since Disney Parks uses a price color guide for Open Edition pins, I wanted to share the new price color guide showing the new prices.
Disney Parks Pin Price Color Guide
The new Disney Parks pin price color guide for Open Edition pins are as follows:
- Silver is $14.99 (was $12.99, increased $2.00 per pin)
- Yellow is $17.99 (was $14.99, increased $3.00 per pin)
- Pink is $19.99 (was $16.99, increased $3.00 per pin)

Most Open Edition pins at Disney Parks do not have a price listed on the back of the pin card, but instead have a color code sticker. This is so Disney can change the price of these Open Edition pins at any time without having to individually reprice each pin. The Disney pins price color code can be confusing for some guests; however, there is usually a framed pricing guide (like the one pictured above) somewhere near the pins which shows the pins price based on the color code sticker on the back of the pin card (see examples below).

On your next visit to the Disneyland Resort or the Walt Disney World Resort, notice the color code sticker on the back of any Open Edition Disney pin of interest and match that color to the Disney Parks pins price color guide to see the price of the pin.
