Prices are going up once again! Disney is raising prices for Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+. The price hike will go into effect on October 17, 2024 for all Disney streaming stand-alone services and bundles.
The Walt Disney Company stated the following when announcing the price increases:
“With this growing offering, and new ways to enjoy your favorite Disney+ content, Disney subscription plans remain among the best values in streaming today.”
Disney also announced that beginning September 4, 2024, Disney+ subscribers will have access to the ABC News Live streaming channel and a playlist focused on preschool content. And later this fall, Disney+ Premium subscribers will have access to four additional playlists. These are a few extras that Disney is adding to try to lessen the blow of the price increase.
Disney+ New Monthly Prices
Disney+ Basic (with ads) and Disney+ Premium (no ads) will both be increasing $2 per month. Disney+ Basic (with ads) will change from $7.99 per month to $9.99 monthly. Disney+ Premium (no ads) will increase to $15.99, currently $13.99.
Hulu New Monthly Prices
Hulu with ads is also increasing $2 per month. The new monthly cost will be $9.99 per month. Hulu without ads is going up $1 from $17.99 per month to $18.99 monthly.
Also, all of the bundles are increasing with the exception of the Disney Bundle Duo Premium and the new Disney+, Hulu, Max Bundles.
