The sequel to the 2003 Disney film Freaky Friday is coming to Disney+ this month. Starting November 12, 2025, Disney’s Freakier Friday starting Disney Legend Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan begins streaming on Disney+.
In the sequel, Curtis and Lohan reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman, respectively. The story picks up years after Tess and Anna endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.

Disney Freakier Friday also stars Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosalind Chao, Chad Michael Murray, and Mark Harmon. The film is directed by Nisha Ganatra. Kristin Burr, Andrew Gunn, and Jamie Lee Curtis produce the film.
