The resort has a total of 1,951 rooms strategically located in four sections across the property. The Gran Destino Tower, the main building, houses rooms on its 3rd through 15th floors. The Casitas, Ranchos, and Cabanas are the other sections, each offering a unique ambiance and view.

The Casitas have five buildings with four floors and are close to the Convention Center. The Ranchos are made up of four pueblo-style buildings with three floors. The Cabanas consist of three buildings with two floors. All rooms underwent a renovation in 2018, featuring new beds, a new flat-screen TV, and other new furnishings.

Panchito’s Gifts and Sundries has you covered for all of your Disney souvenirs and gifts. The shop sells a variety of Disney merchandise including Mickey Ears, Disney Pins, apparel, Disney Coronado Springs Resort themed items and more. The shop is named after Panchito, the Mexican rooster in the Three Caballeros. There is even a Panchito statue welcoming guests into the shop.

Disney Coronado Springs Resort offers an array of recreational activities to keep guests entertained. The Lost City of Cibola feature pool, also known as The Dig Site, is a massive pool complex featuring a 46-foot, 5-story tall Mayan pyramid. The pool is complemented with a sand volleyball court, the Explorer’s Playground, the Iguana Arcade and the largest outdoor hot tub on Walt Disney World property.

In addition to the main pool, the resort features three additional quiet pools located at the Casitas, Ranchos, and Cabanas sections of the resort. And for those looking for a more active form of recreation, the resort offers a .75-mile jogging trail around Lago Dorado.

The Gran Destino Tower is also where the resort’s Front Desk, Bell Services and Guest Services are located.
