Every year, both the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort share a few Limited Edition monthly pins that are released as part of a series with a total of 12 pins (one for each month) in the series. This year, one of the monthly pin series that will be available at both the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort is the “Disney Bicoastal Adventures” pin series. I was able to preview this new monthly pin series this past August at the Magic Hap-Pins pin event in Florida. The pins in this series feature a Disney Attraction that is on both the east coast at the Walt Disney World Resort and on west coast at the Disneyland Resort. Each pin has a Limited Edition size of 4,000 and the retail price for each pin is $19.99.
The first three pins in the series are Chip & Dale at Space Mountain, Mickey Mouse at Soarin’ Around the World and the Hitchhiker Ghosts at the Haunted Mansion. The Space Mountain “Disney Bicoastal Adventures” pin is the first pin in the series that will be released in January at both the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort. The Soarin’ Around the World pin will be released in February and the Haunted Mansion pin in March.
The second quarter pins include Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, Goofy at the Astro Orbiter and Mickey Mouse on the Railroad. The Tiki Room pin will be released in April, the Astro Orbiter pin in May and the Railroad pin in June. Exact release dates are not available at this time.
