Exciting news about the upcoming D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event was released today along with ticket prices. The event will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center on August 9, 10 & 11, 2024. However, there are several events scheduled from August 8-11 that will lead up to The Ultimate Disney Fan Event weekend.
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event Tickets
Tickets go on sale starting Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 12pm PT exclusively to D23 Gold Members. Then, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, tickets go on sale to Visa Cardholders at 12pm PT. And then on Thursday, March 28, 2024, tickets will go on sale to all D23 Members which includes Gold Members and General Members.
Ticket prices for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event range from $79 for a 1-Day pass up to $2,599 for a 3-Day Ultimate Preferred Fan Pass. The D23 Fan Pass only includes access to the Anaheim Convention Center and not to the Honda Center. Fans who are interested in attending both the Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center events will need to purchase the D23 Ultimate Fan Pass or the D23 Ultimate Preferred Fan Pass. The primary difference between the two is that the Preferred Fan Pass gets fans floor level seating at the Honda Center. Both “Ultimate” Fan passes include access to the Disney Entertainment Showcase, Disney Experiences Showcase (formerly known as the Parks Panel at prior year D23 Expos) and the Disney Legends Ceremony at the Honda Center with seating as noted in the chart below.

D23 Day at Angel Stadium
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event kicks off on August 4, 2024 at Angel Stadium with a D23 Day as the Los Angeles Angels play against the New York Mets. Tickets are already on sale for D23 Day at Angel Stadium on the D23 website. During the game, there will be special trivia, photo spots, and more. Plus, the first 23,000 fans in the gate will receive a commemorative and one-of-a-kind D23 Mickey Mouse bobblehead.
D23 Night at the Anaheim Packing District
Then on Tuesday, August 6 at 5pm PT, fans can meet up for a “D23 Night” at the Anaheim Packing District in the heart of Downtown Anaheim to enjoy local foods, drinks, trivia, and special D23 touches. There will also be a “game night” sponsored by Ravensburger so fans can learn how to play Disney Lorcana and try out some other Disney games by Ravensburger. Tickets are not required for this event. The Incredibles Screening in the Park
On Wednesday, August 7 at 8pm PT, D23, in collaboration with Street Food Cinema, will present an outdoor screening of The Incredibles to celebrate the films 30th anniversary. The event will take place at Pearson Park Amphitheater in Downtown Anaheim. Tickets for the outdoor screening will go on sale in early May and will be $27 for D23 Gold Members (plus a $3 processing fee) and $32 for D23 General Members (plus a $3 processing fee). D23 Day at Disneyland Resort
And then on Thursday, August 8, fans will have an opportunity to attend the first-ever D23 Day at Disneyland Resort. Both theme parks will welcome ticketed D23 fans from rope drop to late night. The day will include unique offerings for fans, a custom cavalcade, an energetic dance party, special photo opportunities and more. Theme park admission and reservations will be required for D23 Day at Disneyland Resort. Note that this is a separate ticketed event from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event tickets. Also, Disney Junior will host a music-filled celebration at Disney California Adventure Park on D23 Day at Disneyland Resort. And, starting Sunday, August 4 through Sunday, August 11, Downtown Disney District guests will find special offers, décor, and magical moments hosted by Disney Junior.
Disney Legends Ceremony
This years D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event promises to be the biggest and best ever. Activities start on August 4th with D23 Day at Angel Stadium at go through August 11 with the Disney Legends Ceremony rounding out the week at the Honda Center. The ceremony is scheduled to start at 5pm and will be hosted by Ryan Seacreast.
Today, Disney announced 14 new Disney Legends who will be honored during the ceremony including filmmakers, Imagineers, artists and more. The 2024 Disney Legends being honored are Colleen Atwood (Costume Design), Angela Bassett (Film & Television), Martha Blanding (Parks & Resorts), James L. Brooks (Television), James Cameron (Film), Jamie Lee Curtis (Film), Miley Cyrus (Television & Music), Steve Ditko (Publishing), Harrison Ford (Film), Mark Henn (Animation), Frank Oz (Film & Television), Kelly Ripa (Television), Joe Rohde (Imagineering), and John Williams (Music).
D23 Gold Member Benefits
In addition to being the first to purchase discounted tickets during the pre-sale on March 26, D23 Gold Members will also have access to additional benefits, discounts, and offers from various groups across the show floor and throughout Downtown Disney. D23 Charter Members who joined D23 in 2009 will have exclusive access to a private lounge off the show floor. And, all D23 Gold Members attending the event will receive a commemorative pin.
Transportation
During the event weekend, complimentary round-trip shuttle service will be available between the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center before and after the evening shows. Parking at the Anaheim Convention Center will also be available as it has been in previous years on a first come, first served basis. Additional transportation and parking details will be provided closer to the event.

Are you ready for a week of fun? It sounds like an exhausting week but a fun week! I am super excited. And I am really hoping for some major, and I mean major, announcements at the Disney Experiences Showcase. The 2022 D23 Expo Parks Panel was very disappointing with little to no announcements during the panel discussion. DisneylandForward is one meeting away from being approved (fingers crossed) by the Anaheim City Council on April 16 and rumors are swirling that construction will begin soon at Disney’s Animal Kingdom near Dinoland USA.
