D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event starts next Friday, August 9 at the Anaheim Convention Center. But, before the ultimate Disney fan event begins, fans are getting a preview of a lot of the merchandise that will be available for sale at the convention center during the event including previews from the D23 Marketplace and Disney Store.
Luckily, for these unable to attend D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event next weekend or unable to make it to the D23 Marketplace to purchase these items, many of the products below will be available for sale on Disneystore.com starting Monday, August 12 at 8am PT (while supplies last).
Let’s check out the merchandise!
New Disney Park Collections
Two new collections that will debut at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will be “A Walk in Disneyland” and the Haunted Mansion 55th anniversary collection.
The “A Walk in Disneyland” collection was created by Ashley Eckstein and Ashley Taylor and will feature classic Disneyland attractions with a node to nostalgia. The collection will include a new dress, a woven button-up shirt and more!
And, the Haunted Mansion 55th anniversary collection will be a fan favorite for those who like to socialize with the mansions 999 grim grinning ghosts. The collection will include a Madame Leota Replica and a Raven Shoulder Plush.
Heroes and Villains Vinyl Figures
This collection of Disney heroes and villains is sure to be a hit at the Disney fan event! These vinyl figure sets feature heroes and villains from Hercules, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Created by Stacey Aoyama, each figure features exquisite details and vibrant colors capturing the essence of these iconic Disney characters. In addition to these Heroes and Villains Vinyl Figures, there will also be two Limited Edition figures available during the event.
Disney Designer Dolls Midnight Masquerade
This series of dolls brings fashionably late Disney heroes and villains to the Midnight Masquerade.
Expanding on the previous Midnight Masquerade collection, these Limited Edition dolls are adorned with intricately crafted masks. For the Disney Heroes, there will be an Aladdin and Jasmine set. And for the Disney Villains, there will be an Anastasia and Drizella set. Other dolls in the Midnight Masquerade collection will include Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Alice and the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, Mother Gothel from Tangled and Snow White from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Star Wars Fashion and Collectibles
For Star Wars fans, there will plenty of clothing items and collectibles available to take home including a Star Wars Dark Side collection. The collection will include a new Loungefly backpack, Spirit Jersey, Kylo Ren Helmet and more!
Star Wars collectibles will include a Limited Edition Starspeeder 3000 Star Tours vehicle replica, a Sorcerer Droid, the Blade of Ochi of Bestoon and a Captain Rex Droid Talking Action Figures.
And, on Monday, August 12th, a Limited Edition Star Wars: The Clone Wars Legacy Lightsaber set three-pack will be available exclusively on DisneyStore.com.
Disney Joy Collection of Pins
In addition to the Disney Studio Store Hollywood pins that I have been sharing with you, the D23 Marketplace will have a Disney Joy collection of Limited Edition pins which will include this Belle and Beast boxed pin.
Disney Munchlings Baked Treats Remix
This next collection is not my favorite because I don’t really care for the Disney Munchlings, but there will be a new collection of Disney Munchlings debuting at the event. The Disney Munchlings Baked Treats Remix Blind Box will include Minnie Mouse Cherry Tart, Baymax Tiramisu, and Stitch Frosted Blueberry Loaf – just to name a few.
Disney Lacers
I’m not sure about this next collection, but I’ll have to see it in person to officially decide. But, Disney Lacers will be a new Limited Release of vinyl sneakers showcasing beloved Disney Characters.
These vinyl collectibles will include a mini-sneaker with details of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Dumbo, Stitch, Hercules and more.
60 Years of Mary Poppins
To celebrate 60 years of Mary Poppins, Disney fans will love this new ear headband adorned in white with red ribbons reminiscent of Mary Poppins’ Jolly Holiday dress and featuring a charming penguin centerpiece.
And, will there be a penguin plush too? There hasn’t been any mention of the plush and the one pictured is similar to an older Disney Store exclusive penguin plush, but definitely not the same one. So, as a Disney plush lover and collector, I’m crossing my fingers that the penguin plush pictured will be available for purchase at the D23 Marketplace.
Ichabod and Mr. Toad 75th Anniversary
Disney’s The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year with a new collection of merchandise. The collection includes a varsity jacket, an ear headband and a Loungefly mini-backpack which features working lights on the front of the motorcar. The collection also includes an Ichabod Crane figurine and a Headless Horseman figurine.
Disney Wishables
And if all of this merchandise hasn’t gotten you excited enough and also wondering how you are going to afford to pay for all of these new items, there will also be a new Disney Wishables release at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
Keeping with the heroes and villains theme, this new set of Disney Wishables plush will include Prince Phillip, Maleficent in Dragon form, Ariel, Ursula, Jasmine and Jafar in Cobra form.

As noted at the beginning of this post, those that are unable to attend the D23 event next weekend or can’t carry everything home, many of these items will be available on Disneystore.com after the fan event starting Monday, August 12 at 8am PT.
