An all-new nighttime parade is coming to the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort this summer. The new nighttime parade titled “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” will continue the nighttime spectacular legacy started by the “Main Street Electrical Parade” using the latest technology to tell new stories about the Disney & Pixar characters we all love.

“Disney Starlight” Coco Float
“Disney Starlight” will get un poco loco with a new Coco float at Magic Kingdom this summer! In a celebration of the Pixar Animation Studios film, sounds of Mariachi music will announce the arrival of a larger-than-life Pepita, wings spread above the parade route. Below, Miguel will strum his guitar at the foot of a marigold bridge to the Land of the Dead, complete with sugar skull fireworks.
This new Coco float is an explosion of color and light that guests at the Magic Kingdom will not want to miss.
“Disney Starlight” Moana Float

At the Disney Experiences panel at D23 Brazil a few months ago, Disney revealed a rendering of a Moana float that will be a part of the “Disney Starlight” parade. The float will feature Moana on her wayfinder boat riding high on luminescent waves. Pua, HeiHei and even a manta ray representing Gramma Tala will join Moana on the float.

The parade will be brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy from Disney’s Pinocchio. Other characters that we might see in this all-new parade include characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Peter Pan, Encanto, Frozen and more.

“Disney Starlight” Official Poster
Disney has also revealed the official poster for “Disney Starlight.” This design, which will take its place amongst the iconic artwork below the Main Street, U.S.A. train station, captures the creative vision for the parade by showcasing both modern stories and familiar nostalgia.

The all-new “Disney Starlight” nighttime parade will debut at the Magic Kingdom this summer. An exact premiere date for the parade has not been announced yet so keep checking back for new information as it is revealed over the coming months.
