Magic Kingdom all-new Nighttime Parade

An all-new nighttime parade titled “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” is coming to the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort this summer. The new nighttime parade will continue the nighttime spectacular legacy started by the “Main Street Electrical Parade” using the latest technology to tell new stories about the Disney & Pixar characters we all love.

The parade will be brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy from Walt Disney’s animated classic film Pinocchio. Some of the others characters that we might see in this all-new parade include characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Peter Pan, Encanto, Frozen and more.

“Disney Starlight” Wish Float

“Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” parade will also feature characters from Disney Animation Studios’ 2023 film, Wish. The colorful and magical float will feature Asha, Valentino and Star floating down the parade route on a wishing tree.

“Disney Starlight” Encanto Float

Next, the Madrigal family will light up the night with their magical miracle candle and special gifts. Mirabel along with Isabela and Bruno will share their magical gifts with guests along the parade route.

Disney Princesses and their Prince will dance the night away at a floating royal ball during “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” parade. Watch as Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip, Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen, Belle and the Beast, and Cinderella and Prince Charming float along the parade route on a sparkling float that was only built for Disney Princesses.

“Disney Starlight” will feature an explosion of color and light with a new Coco float at Magic Kingdom Park this summer! In a celebration of the Pixar Animation Studios film, sounds of Mariachi music will announce the arrival of a larger-than-life Alebrije, Pepita with his wings spread above the parade route. Miguel will strum his guitar at the foot of a marigold bridge to the Land of the Dead on the float, complete with sugar skull fireworks. This is one float that guests will not want to miss!

“Disney Starlight” Moana Float

Next, sail on the open seas and explore the oceans with Moana during the “Disney Starlight” parade. The float will feature Moana on her wayfinder boat riding high on a luminescent wave. Moana is joined by Pua, HeiHei and a manta ray representing Gramma Tala.

These are just some of the Disney & Pixar characters we can expect to see is the Magic Kingdoms all-new nighttime spectacular parade. But there are more to come!

The all-new “Disney Starlight” nighttime parade will debut at the Magic Kingdom this summer. An exact premiere date for the parade has not been announced yet so keep checking back for new information as it is revealed soon!

Based on the Magic Kingdom’s current entertainment schedule, I expect that “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” parade will begin on or around June 29, 2025. Of course the schedule may change, but at this time, “Disney Festival of Fantasy” parade is only scheduled through June 28, 2025 with no parades listed on Magic Kingdom Parks entertainment schedule starting June 29, 2025. So, that may indicate that Walt Disney World plans to premiere the parade at the end of June and in time for the 4th of July crowds.
