Looking for a hot and spicy snack or meal on your next visit to Disneyland Park? If so, The Golden Horseshoe has a seasonal offering that is sure to spice up your taste buds and set your mouth on fire. The Buffalo Sauce Chicken Tenders are a hot new seasonal offering that is served with French Fries (or a Cuties® Mandarin Orange) that will have you asking for a cup of water to put out the flames in your mouth.
Hot! Hot! Hot! Buffalo Sauce Chicken Tenders
These are the basic chicken tenders that you can find at most any Disneyland Resort quick-service restaurant including The Golden Horseshoe but soaked in buffalo sauce which make them really messy. I decided to eat them with a fork to avoid some of the mess and the sticky fingers.
The chicken tenders are covered in buffalo sauce and I suggest eating these with the complementary ranch dressing sauce to cool down the buffalo hot sauce. They are good but are hot by themselves even for someone like me who likes hot and spicy food.
My Review
While I thought the Buffalo Sauce Chicken Tenders tasted good, they were a bit too hot and spicy for me. Maybe if the chicken tenders were soaked in a milder or medium buffalo sauce, they would be a little more enjoyable. The French Fries that come with the chicken fingers are the basic fries that can be found at most Disneyland Resort quick-service restaurants but tasted good — especially since they were hot and fresh.
I am only giving this entree 3 stars because I thought the buffalo sauce was a bit too much without adding the ranch dressing and a large cup of water to put out the fire in my mouth. But, for someone who likes hot buffalo sauce, these may be a more enjoyable. I think I prefer the Mango-Habanero Chicken Strips at Flo’s V8 Cafe at Disney California Adventure Park over these which are already drizzled with ranch dressing.
My review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Buffalo Sauce Chicken Tenders are priced at $12.49. And, the entree is available at The Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland for lunch and dinner for a limited time.
