TRON: Ares is the highly anticipated third installment in the TRON franchise and follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings. The all-new feature film stars Jared Leto, Jeff Bridges, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan and Gillian Anderson.
Grammy-award winning rock band Nine Inch Nails composed the score for Tron: Ares. And today, the band dropped “As Alive As You Need Me To Be”, the first single from the film’s soundtrack. The all-new track is featured in the official new trailer which you can watch below.
The film is directed by Joachim Rønning. Sean Bailey, Jeffrey Silver, Justin Springer, Jared Leto, Emma Ludbrook, and Steven Lisberger are the producers, with Russell Allen serving as executive producer.
TRON: Ares opens in theaters on October 10, 2025.
