In honor of the 30th anniversary of Blizzard Beach, Walt Disney World Resort announced that Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon water parks will both be open for guests this summer.

For the first time since 2019, all 6 Walt Disney World parks (4 theme parks and 2 water parks) will be open at the same time. From May 21 through September 7, 2025, Walt Disney World Resort guests can enjoy both the tropical shipwreck oasis of Typhoon Lagoon water park and the frosty fun of Blizzard Beach water park.

But, before summer begins, Blizzard Beach will need a little melt away time and will temporarily close between May 1 and May 20 for a short refurbishment.

Then, starting May 21, guests will be able to enjoy the water slides, lazy rivers and all of the other wet fun at both Walt Disney World Resort water parks.

2025 Resort Guests Enjoy Free Water Park Access on Arrival Day

This year, Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests can enjoy free water park access on their arrival day at a Disney Resort hotel. Starting May 21, guests will be able to choose between the two water parks for free admission on their arrival day.

Make a Splash Under the Stars
