Bluey The Movie coming to Theaters in 2027

This week, Disney announced that the all-new feature length Bluey movie is coming to theaters on August 6, 2027. The film is being produced by Ludo Studio in collaboration with BBC Studios and will land in theaters under the Disney banner. Following the global theatrical release of the film, it will stream on Disney+. The movie will also air on ABC iview and ABC Kids in Australia post-theatrical release.

Bluey, a BBC Studios series, streams on Disney+ and airs on Disney Jr. The series was 2024’s most-watched series globally on Disney+. In addition, Bluey is also the No. 1 streamed series on all streaming platforms in the United States. And earlier this year, The Walt Disney Company acquired the global theatrical rights for the first-ever Bluey animated feature film.

It was announced in December 2024, that Bluey and her sister Bingo were coming to the Disneyland Resort in California, the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disney Cruise Line.

In January 2025, Bluey and Bingo did board Disney Cruise Line voyages originating from Australia and New Zealand for meet-and-greets. However, the two sisters have never arrived at either of the United States theme parks. Disney has not made any announcements about when the two popular characters will arrive at either of the theme parks nor has Disney announced a delay or cancellation of the Heeler sisters. So, we can only assume that Bluey and Bingo are still coming to the theme parks at some point in the future. Maybe 2027?
