Elio is an 11 year old boy whose biggest wish is to get abducted by aliens. So he waits and watches for aliens until his wish finally comes true. Elio gets abducted and is transported to the Communiverse, an interplanetary paradise that is home to intelligent life from galaxies far and wide. But when he’s mistaken as Earth’s leader, he must form new bonds with eccentric alien lifeforms, navigate a crisis of intergalactic proportions, and somehow discover who and where he is truly meant to be.
This summer, go on a big-screen adventure with Elio who will travel millions of miles across the universe encountering and a host of out-of-this world creatures who just might help him figure out exactly where he belongs.
Disney-Pixar’s Elio features the voice talents of Yonas Kibreab as Elio, Zoe Saldaña as Aunt Olga, Remy Edgerly as Glordon, Brad Garrett as Lord Grigon, Jameela Jamil as Ambassador Questa and Shirley Henderson as OOOOO. Directed by Madeline Sharafian (Burrow Sparkshort), Domee Shi (Bao short, Turning Red) and Adrian Molina (co-screenwriter/co-director of Coco), Elio is produced by Mary Alice Drumm (associate producer of Coco).
