The story of Auradon is expanding once again with a new Descendants spin-off movie. Right off the premiere of Descendants: Wicked Wonderland on Disney Channel and Disney+, a new live-action movie titled Descendants: Hidden Heroes is already in production with filming set to start this month.
Descendants: Hidden Heroes will follow more Villains teens trying to shed their heavy family legacies to save Auradon from disaster.
The Descendants movie will star Jacob Rodriguez as KJ, the magnetic and confident son of Kronk from The Emperor’s New Groove and Dior Goodjohn as Jennie, the daughter of the Genie from Aladdin. KJ and Jennie are rumored to be the main characters in the new live-action movie.
Other rumored cast members are Melanie Paxson as the Fairy Principal/Fairy Godmother, Eva Smedley in an unspecified role (rumored to play Meri, the daughter of Merryweather) and Blaike Lewis as Lou, the son of LeFou from Beauty and the Beast.
Descendants: Hidden Heroes is slated to debut on Disney Channel and Disney+ Summer 2027.
