All-Day Park Hopper Access

Starting January 9, 2024, all-day Park Hopper access is returning to Walt Disney World for any guests with a Park Hopper ticket or an Annual Pass. Guest will once again be able to visit another Walt Disney World theme park at any time of the day during normal park hours (subject to capacity limitations). For more details, please visit the Walt Disney World website.

After the park closures in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Park Hopper access was suspended until it returned again in 2021. At that time and until January 9, 2024, Park Hopper access has only been available after 2pm each day. But all of that is changing on January 9, 2024.

Annual Passholders will also be able to take advantage of this update to the Park Hopper access after visiting their first Walt Disney World theme park. If reservations are required, Annual Passholders must make a theme park reservation for the first park they plan to visit and enter that first park before Park Hopping and visiting another theme park.

However, “Good-to-go days” will begin for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders sometime in January (the exact date has not been announced)! On “Good-to-go days”, Annual Passholders will be able to visit a Walt Disney World theme park without a theme park reservation (excluding blockout dates).

Are you excited to begin Park Hopping once again any time of day in 2024? Or, do you normally Park Hop when you visit Walt Disney World? Some guests find Park Hopping a waste of time at Walt Disney World because the theme parks are so far apart and it takes too much time to move from one park to another. However, if you are only at Walt Disney World for a limited time-frame and want to experience certain attractions around the resort, this new benefit may be beneficial to you. Let me know your thoughts by sending me a message. I would love to hear from you.
