On one of my recent visits to Disneyland park, I found a new favorite dish at Alien Pizza Planet in Tomorrowland. This is a Disneyland park restaurant that I rarely visit. But on a recent day at the park, I was in Tomorrowland when I felt a “rumbly in my tumbly”. Normally, I am a creature of habit and like to eat the same things, the foods that I know I like. And I don’t mind walking all the way across the park or even over to Disney California Adventure park to get something that I know I like to eat. But occasionally, I get these wild ideas to try something new. And this was one of those days. So, I looked at the Disneyland app on my phone and started scrolling through the different dining locations. And since I don’t frequent Alien Pizza Planet, I didn’t know if they had anything new or different that I might be interested in trying. I knew they had pizza and pasta, but what else? And as soon as I saw the Chicken and Orange Salad, I knew that was something I wanted to try.

Alien Pizza Planet

Alien Pizza Planet

In my opinion, most of the food choices at Alien Pizza Planet are not that great or memorable. I’ve had the pizza and I’ve had a few of the pasta dishes, but none of the menu items were ever really that enjoyable. So I was hesitant to try anything at Alien Pizza Planet, even a salad.

Chicken and Orange Salad

Wendy’s, the fast food restaurant, used to have a Chicken and Orange Salad that I loved. But, I think they discontinued it a few years ago. So, that is partially why the Chicken and Orange Salad at Alien Pizza Planet stood out to me.

So, I mobile ordered the salad on the Disneyland app to give it a try. The salad comes as pictured above with the sweet chili-soy dressing in a cup on the side. This is a napa salad blend with diced grilled chicken, shredded carrots, mandarin oranges, slivered almonds, crispy chow mein noodles and sesame seeds.

Again, I was hesitant to even try a salad at Alien Pizza Planet, but I was pleasantly surprised! I poured the sweet chili-soy dressing over the salad and took a bite. And, the taste of the salad and blend of all the different flavors instantly became a favorite for me.

The salad is a pretty good sized portion and the price is only $10.99 which is pretty reasonable for an entree at Disneyland. The salad includes a lot of grilled chicken which had an excellent taste. I don’t really like to eat a lot of meat, but the chicken tasted great with all of the other flavors in the salad so the large amount of grilled chicken didn’t really bother me.

My Rating

I am giving the Chicken and Orange Salad at Alien Pizza Planet 5 stars because I really liked it. And, as I mentioned earlier, it has become one of my favorite dishes at Disneyland park. I am even craving it as I write this blog post. That is how much I liked this salad.

My review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5

So, the next time you are in Tomorrowland and want a bite to eat, consider trying the Chicken and Orange Salad at Alien Pizza Planet and see what you think. And while the pizza and pasta are not my favorites at this dining location, let me know what you think and if one of the restaurant’s entrees is a favorite of yours.
