A Maleficent Encounter coming to Disney Destiny

When the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet sets sail on its Maiden Voyage on November 20, 2025, the mistress of evil will be onboard conjuring up an all new experience. Maleficent will hold court in a one-of-a-kind encounter onboard the the Disney Destiny, transforming the Saga entertainment lounge into whatever suits her fancy, calling forth the glittering regalia of a medieval throne room, the dark echoes of an eerie dungeon, or the shadows of a foreboding forest.

Maleficent will show guests aboard the Disney Destiny the wonders of her magical powers, inviting only the bravest in the Saga lounge to approach her and be cast under her spell surrounded by lightning, fire, rain, and smoke in this lounge-turned-lair.

The Saga entertainment lounge aboard the Disney Destiny will be home to musical performances, comedy acts, game shows and Under Her Spell: A Maleficent Encounter. The 2-story family lounge takes subtle inspiration from the Marvel film Black Panther. And at night, the entertainment lounge transforms into a dazzling adult-exclusive lounge with live music, interactive shows and special events to keep the party going.

The Disney Destiny sets sail on its Maiden Voyage on November 20, 2025 offering 4 and 5-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. On board, Disney, Pixar and Marvel heroes and villains come to life with meet and greets, entertainment and more!
