The 2025 Disneyland Resort event calendar has been released and next year will be full of festivals, magic and fun. The highlight of 2025 will be Disneyland Resort’s 70th Anniversary celebration. The first event of 2025 will be the Lunar New Year celebration at Disney California Adventure Park. Disneyland After Dark events are also returning in 2025 with the first event starting late-January.
Here’s a breakdown of the events coming to the Disneyland Resort in 2025.
Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary Celebration
The Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary celebration kicks off on May 16, 2025 and will run through summer 2026. The theme is Celebrate Happy and the celebration will include limited-time entertainment, festive décor, special celebration food, collectible merchandise and more! Disneyland Resort Festivals and Limited-Time Celebrations
As with previous years, 2025 promises a year full of festivals and limited-time celebrations at the Disneyland Resort. These are the events on the Disneyland Resorts calendar for 2025:
Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park
Lunar New Year returns to Disney California Adventure Park in 2025 from January 17 to February 16. For the 2025 celebration, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will debut all-new outfits with representations of traditional Korean attire. “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession” and “Hurry Home – A Lunar New Year Celebration” will both return for the Year of the Snake. During the celebration. Mickey & Minnie, Mulan & Mushu and Mei & Ming Lee will meet and greet guests. For the last two years, Raya from Raya and the Last Dragon has also done a meet and greet for Lunar New Year so hopefully she will return in 2025 too.
Celebrate Gospel at Disneyland Park
Celebrate Gospel returns to Disneyland Park starting February 8 – 15, 2025. Concerts for the celebration will take place in the Fantasyland Theatre with performances by community choirs from across Southern California and award-winning artists.
Anaheim Ducks Days at Disney California Adventure Park
In celebration of the Anaheim Ducks Hockey team, the Disneyland Resort and the Anaheim Ducks will once again team up for a celebration at Disney California Adventure Park on January 24, 2025. The celebration will include a cavalcade, fan zone with themed activities and photo opportunities, plus appearances by select Anaheim Ducks players.
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival
The annual Food & Wine Festival will return to Disney California Adventure Park from February 28 through April 21. The festival will once again include creative food and beverage offerings, cooking demonstrations, live entertainment and Chef Goofy. Also, Soarin’ Over California will return to Grizzly Peak for a limited time during the festival.
Season of the Force at Disneyland Park
Season of the Force will return to Disneyland Park starting March 28, 2025 through May 11, 2025. Hyperspace Mountain will take over Space Mountain for the celebration. And special themed food and merchandise will be available. Also, “Fire of the Rising Moons” will be performed nightly at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge with epic, new projection effects and galactic music – enhanced with fireworks on select nights.
Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party
The Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party one-day event at Disney California Adventure Park and two-day event at Downtown Disney is set to return with lively entertainment, Disney Jr. characters and activities that families with young children will enjoy. Dates will be announced at a later date.
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort
Halloween Time will take place at the Disneyland Resort from August 22, 2025 through October 31, 2025. Once again, the resort will be transformed with autumn decor for the season. Disney Characters will meet guests dressed in their Halloween outfits. And the resort will feature a few Halloween themed attractions.
Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park
The Pixar Animation Studios film Coco comes to life as Paradise Gardens Park is transformed to Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park. The celebration begins August 22, 2025 and runs through November 2, 2025.
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will begin in 2025 on November 14 and run through January 7, 2026. For the holidays, we can expect the return of “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” at Disneyland Park, Disney Festival of Holidays and Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party at Disney California Adventure, “it’s a Small World” Holiday overlay at Disneyland Park and Disney Characters in both parks dressed in their holiday finest.
Disneyland After-Hours Special Events
The Disneyland Resort will offer several after-hours events in 2025. These themed, separately ticketed events include pre-party park mix-ins, shorter wait times for select attractions, Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads from the event and more.
Disneyland After Dark
Disneyland After Dark events typically include special entertainment, rare character appearances, special event menu items and special event merchandise. This years Disneyland After Dark events included Sweethearts’ Nite, 90s Nite, Star Wars Nite and Pride Nite. Event dates are as follows:
- Sweethearts’ Nite (Jan. 21, 23, 28; Feb. 4, 6, 9, 11, 13)
- 90s Nite (March 4 and 6)
- Star Wars Nite (April 8, 10, 22, 24, 29; May 1, 4, 6)
- Pride Nite (June 16 and 18)
Oogie Boogie Bash
The popular Oogie Boogie Bash will be returning in 2025 to Disney California Adventure Park on 31 select nights during Halloween Time. The event includes Treat Trails, special character meet & greets, the Frightfully Fun Parade and so much more. The 2025 event dates are as follows:
- Aug. 17, 19, 21, 24, 26, 28, 31
- Sept. 2, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
- Oct. 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, 31
